Our Story

This research project was conceptualised in 2018 by the research teams at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT- Delhi) and the University of Queensland to address the rising tensions regarding behavioural concerns within the classroom in adolescents students in India.Research provides substantial evidence on the importance of addressing behavioural concerns at the correct stage, as it helps avoid mental health concerns in adulthood. Keeping this in mind, a 4-year project was undertaken, which included conducting research with schools in Delhi NCR ( Noida, Delhi, Gurgaon and Bulandshahr) to create an intervention programme. Our research project aims to keep teachers empowered and informed. By making this training program digital, we hope seeking help becomes easier by overcoming logistical, geographical and psychological barriers. Our ultimate goal is that teachers in all cities in India have access to resolving classroom behavioural concerns at their fingertips.
